At this point we are logged in to our FTP account.
We need to select all files from the WordPress download and upload them to the directory we want it installed in.
All files have finished uploading. Now we need to create a database for WordPress to use.
Use your hosting control panel to create the database. In this tutorial we will be using cPanel.
We need to enter a name for the database.
Then create a user to log in to the database.
Then we need to give the user access to the database.
Our database has been created. Now we need to run through the WordPress installer.
If you don't already have a configuration file WordPress will try to create it for you. If it can't you need to create a file named wp-config.php in the root folder of your WordPress install.
The file has been created now we can finish the installer.
We need to enter the database access details that we created earlier.
Now WordPress can communicate with the database.
Now we need to setup some basic info about the blog.
WordPress has been installed and we can login. Take special note of the password as you will not be shown it again.
