In this tutorial we will be installing WordPress.

• At this point we are logged in to our FTP account.
• We need to select all files from the WordPress download and upload them to the directory we want it installed in.
• All files have finished uploading. Now we need to create a database for WordPress to use.
• Use your hosting control panel to create the database. In this tutorial we will be using cPanel.
• We need to enter a name for the database.
• Then create a user to log in to the database.
• Then we need to give the user access to the database.
• Our database has been created. Now we need to run through the WordPress installer.
• If you don't already have a configuration file WordPress will try to create it for you. If it can't you need to create a file named wp-config.php in the root folder of your WordPress install.
• The file has been created now we can finish the installer.
• We need to enter the database access details that we created earlier.
• Now WordPress can communicate with the database.
• Now we need to setup some basic info about the blog.
• WordPress has been installed and we can login. Take special note of the password as you will not be shown it again.
